Original 15th century war helmet. The Barbute is a visorless war helmet made from the fifteenth century. It is designed with opening for eyes and mouth. This helmet is known for its “T” or “Y” shape. This is a replica from the design from the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Kretzschmar von Kienbusch Collection of arms and armor. Our Medieval Warrior helmets are made of heavy polished steel. Use this helmet can be worn as part of a halloween costume or for battle reenactment.
